Farm Animals

Loki and Jake are the official guard dogs of Rockin’ B Ranch. Loki is a two year old rottweiler pit-bull cross. Jake is a one year old mastiff retriever cross. They are social, but are not to be handled by students due to their protective training

 

RODENT CONTROL:

Baileys is a 2 year old purebred Ragdoll cat and mouser extraordinaire. Her territory is predominantly around the house, but she often migrates to the corrals, barn and back 40. Baileys is shy and elusive outside, but all over anyone who sits down  in the house! She can often be seen stalking prey to big to attack, including her humans.

 

PIGS

Piggy Sue is a black 3 year old, 375lb American Guinea Hog/Tamworth Sow. She has a very friendly and gentle nature and loves back scratches.  She is mother of Honey Ham.

Dotty is a 1 year old, 300lb White spotted gilt who barks like a dog as she runs around the arena. She is very friendly, energetic, and loves attention.

Honey Ham was born on Halloween night, 2020.She is a light ginger 150 lb lap pig! she thinks she’s a dog and loves to go on neighborhood walks.

 

DAIRY GOATS:

Casper (The friendly Goat) is a 4 year old pure white Saanen doe with blue eyes who is very friendly with all people. She is pregnant and due to kid the beginning of August. Casper is milked twice daily.

Stevie (Wonder Goat) is a 5 year old tan Boer-Alpine cross doe. She is the largest of the goats at RBR. She is pregnant and is due to kid mid-May.

Sadie is a brown 2 year old Registered Nubian doe and is smallest dairy goat at RBR. She is gentle, sweet tempered and moos like a little cow! Nubians are known for having the highest cream content in their milk.

Ruby and Bonnie are Registered Alpine 3 and 2 year old does. They look alike but Ruby has white feet, and will kid one week after Stevie!

 

RABBITS:

There are currently 8 rabbits – 5 does and 3 bucks.

 

 

THE FLOCK

The feathered flock consists of 32 laying hens and one roosters. They produce 2+ dozen eggs a day. Farm fresh, cage free eggs are sold for $5/dozen.
